Tips and tricks to dressing while wearing your little one so everyone stays comfortable.

WHAT TO BRING

Strollers & Carriers

Be sure to either grab a stroller, frame carrier or a soft structured carrier or wrap. These will allow you to safely enjoy an outdoor adventure with your baby without your arms getting exhausted. Even when they are tiny, those little ones get heavy!

Be sure to consider the terrain! For example, pushing a stroller around the block is going to feel very different than on a rocky trail.

Snacks & Water

Heading outdoors with just baby? Grab a couple of diapers, wipes, and depending on how long you will be gone, formula or age-appropriate snacks. A hungry baby can be a cranky one!

And don't forget to bring snacks and water for yourself as well.

Extra Clothes

Pack light for your adventure, but keeping extra clothes and diapers in the car comes in handy if you have a little baby. We all know things can get messy!

Weather Add-Ons

Remember that if you are wearing baby in a wrap or soft carrier, they are going to be warm and snuggly with you. Be sure to account for that as you layer yourself and little one. Extremities can get chilly so gloves, socks/shoes and hat are important in winter. In the summer, keep baby cool with fewer, breathable layers.
